Movember

Thought i'd do a little post about movember. Our friend Ian is doing it.

It's where for the month of Movember guys grow mo's to raise money for men's health. We all know how stubborn boys can be about going to the Dr etc - well Movember aims to make things fun whilst raising money against depression and prostate cancer.

Remember the Pocky...?

So I just found out that the day we're leaving is not only Rememberance Day - the 11th of November is also POCKY DAY!!! Or Peppero (if you're in Korea)  Sandra just told me.

For those who don't know, pocky is a Japanese snack. As you can see from the pic, it is little sticks dipped in chocolate, white chocolate and i think there is even a strawberry version...tasty.

Preparations are going well and the countdown has begun...please give us your Skype name if you have one so we can call you muah ha ha ha.

Thought I'd better say something...

Hi everyone,

Yup, it's been a while so I thought I'd better write something or you'll never come back.

Not much has happened between buying our tickets and now. We are still looking for a home for Ruby - anyone want to look after our kelpie x collie? We'll pay child support (since she's on a special low fat diet). We just need a dog-lover who has a yard and is willing to give her some playtime. 

Other than that just moving stuff into storage at my mum's (thanks mum!) and trying to whittle down our worldly possessions. Shame about the financial crisis, it's affecting our snow spending when we first get over there. lol.
