Shae's 30th

It's birthday WEEK. We know at least SIX people who had birthdays...oh, 7 including me.

Happy Birthday to Papa, Boulto (both on the 18th), Timmie, Carlye (same day as me), Jennifer and Elliot (on the 20th)!

They say 30 is the new 20, i don't know about that because this has been such a busy week and I'm now not feeling so well. I came home early from work and slept for 3-4 hours. Yikes.

Here are a number of significant things that happened around my birthday:

1. I had to retire a fave pair of shoes on my last day of being a 20-something. Rest in peace.


2. I got a giant Mr Potato Head - actually we got him a few days before but I had to wait to open and play :-) Here's what my cousin Joyce did to him before my birthday dinner.


3. A bunch of us went out for dinner at the Alibi Room. It was fun! We didn't get any group shots so I will put pics with everyone on Facebook.



4. I GOT FACEBOOK. Find me. you can be my friend. Yup, I gave in after Lachie hounding me the few days before my birthday. I have to learn how to link this to it and put pictures up.

5. The War College Students graduated the day after my birthday. It was cool. But sad that most of them will be leaving soon :-( Sorry, no pics. I forgot my camera.
Exciting that Sally will be back from Oz, MARRIED! We're having her shower tomorrow (saturday) and then I'm having a partaaay on Sunday. Will post more pics then...if I remember to take any.
